Obviously, the world knows that former Trump Cabinet member John Bolton is no big fan of our current President Donald Trump. Bolton was the United States’ 25th Ambassador to the United Nations (2005-2006). Bolton was also the 26th United States National Security Advisor (2018-2019). Mr. Bolton has made his feelings in regards to this subject perfectly crystal clear during the first Trump administration. However, I was really shocked to hear how Bolton can currently give 45 & 47 ZERO credit for his efforts of any of his already successful peace treaties. He also seemed to imply during a recent tv interview that Trump’s motivation to try and achieve peace anywhere is simply self-centered. Bolton basically said Trump is just fishing for a Nobel Peace Prize. Maybe he is. Maybe he isn’t. Regardless, since the late seventies Donald Trump has stated over and over again he doesn’t like endless wars. He’s a peace guy. Trump likes things within the United States to be calm and orderly. He also wants to keep things simmered down internationally.
He thought Desert Storm and Operation Iraqi Freedom were ridiculous wastes of time, money and personnel. This president hates casualties. He does not take sending our military into conflict lightly. He loathes it. It weighs on him heavily. Trump will only send the military in when there is no other option in his mind. I’m sure sending troops into conflict or harm’s way has weighed heavily on a lot of Presidents. However, it seems to weigh the most heavily, for whatever reason, on President Trump.
Love him or hate him, Trump is wildly effective and extremely efficient. When he says he’s going to get something done, he actually follows through. Historically, that hasn’t happened for a very long time in America. Historically, President Ronald Reagan comes to mind. So do many of his predecessors. However, I’m talking about the period way before Kennedy and Nixon.
However, what’s really interesting is how many people hate Trump even though he’s achieving all of these wonderful deals. Deals that will ultimately benefit us all as Americans. It’s kind of mind boggling actually. Aren’t we all living in the same country? I guess not, but we actually are all in the US. It’s totally obvious we are not all on the same page, right? The animosity currently afloat from most of the left and even some on the right (think RHINO) is just very vicious. They really get pissed off if anything Trump does is successful. They hate him that much. They fill newscasts about it.
Hey, I get it. Trump can be bombastic and very blunt. Trump has had several legal problems over which he’s largely prevailed. The Stormy Daniels thing- let’s not even go there. That was pretty much a shakedown. Besides, you know rich people are always the target from people trying to profit off of them and get them in trouble. Does that excuse any wrongdoing on his part? No. Definitely not. However President Trump has been held accountable and paid the price for everything they could makes him pay for. They’ve tried to impeach him, put him in prison via many different law suits. They also made him take a mug shot. Why hasn’t any of the above been able to stick? Perhaps some of the people who are still so upset about this need to talk to their government officials. Judges are required to follow the law. If people have a problem with the current laws on the books, then they need to be talking to your congress people to get the laws changed.
It was really interesting to see how the other world leaders treated Trump at The White House over the weekend in regards to his plans concerning Vladimir Putin and Russia. Trump had the full attention of everyone there. They all seemed in favor of Trump’s plans to handle Putin, Russia, and the war with Ukraine. Even Volodymyr Zelenskyy, the president of Ukraine, was 100% on board. He wants peace. All of the other world leaders present want peace. President Trump has said many times he just wants the killing to stop. Why in the world would any American citizen not be for no wars, total peace in the world, and harmony everywhere? Putin seems to have mixed feelings. Trump Haters also seem to have a lot of issues with PEACE, especially if Trump is the change agent that makes PEACE possible.
I hear this from random people a lot of the time and in many places. They just hate Trump that much. I even think the president has jokingly said if he came up with a cure for Cancer, no one on the entire left would care. Kind of crazy, actually. However, Former First Lady and also former Senator Hillary R. Clinton mentioned recently that she personally would nominate Trump for a Nobel Peace Prize if he’s able to stop the war between Russia and Ukraine. Maybe she meant a total cease-fire. No problem. That would be awesome. So, if Trump is able to end this war like he’s done elsewhere, I think we should certainly try and hold Mrs. Clinton to her word, don’t you think? Good luck with that President Trump.
